Slurry, vacuum, and rebed
We offer on-site slurry, vacuum, and rebedding services to keep your systems running at peak performance. We handle the emptying and cleaning of carbon filters with precision, ensuring a thorough and efficient process. Our customers can choose from pooled or segregated reactivated carbon, providing you with seamless and reliable solutions tailored to your specific needs.
Filter exchange

Transport
We transport saturated carbon filters from the customer’s site, exchanging them for pre-filled, activated carbon to reduce production downtimes. DESOTEC will take most filters for refilling or replacement.

Carbon exchange
Filters are brought back to our facilities where the spent carbon is exchanged with virgin or reactivated carbon based on the company’s profile and specific needs.

Waste administration
We provide management and coordination of the processes required for safe and efficient transportation of contaminated carbon waste materials.
Spent carbon disposal
With two EPA- RCRA certified facilities, DESOTEC is permitted to dispose of a variety of hazardous waste materials for our customers. At our facilities, we have the equipment and trained staff to handle waste carbon safely. We test samples to see which components have been absorbed, and in what concentrations. This determines how we manage this waste and whether we can reactivate the carbon. In rare cases when we cannot reactivate, we arrange for safe valorization.
